PRAYER MINISTRY

“Even those I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar. For My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations” – Isaiah 56:7

The goal of the HCFTT prayer ministry is to develop within the next 10 years, an effective network of intercessors to prayerfully support the HCFI vision of a global transformation of healthcare through the service of multiplying disciples practising Biblical healthcare which honours the Lord Jesus Christ.

Are you willing to join us in this great prayer adventure? You can begin straight away!

  1. Pray with us at 09.38 every morning (9.38pm if it suits your work better). Set an alarm for 09.38 and pray (at the very least). Matthew 9:38 over the healthcare field in your locality/region/nation. “Lord, we beseech You, send out workers into Your ripe harvest field of healthcare”. Such a simple request can have profound results!
  2. Should you like to have  more detailed prayer requests sent directly to your mobile phone each day via WhatsApp (868-730-7457) – this can be arranged.
  3. The first Tuesday of every month is the HCFTT Prayer Day. We link with colleagues/friends/church members to ask God’s blessing upon the healthcare field of our nation – this can be done face to face (best if possible) or by phone, Skype, WhatsApp, ZOOM etc. The possibilities to arrange meetings are now endless! An email (social media or WhatsApp message) will be sent each month with some encouragement and topics for prayer. If you would like to be linked with some folk to pray with each month, we can do that too!
  4. Please share with us your prayer requests, and we will join you in praying for God’s Kingdom to come and His will to be done. All prayer request can also be made on our ‘Prayer Requests Page’.

Start a Prayer Group Today

Anyone can start a caring-based, Christian prayer group in four easy steps!

There’s only one way to get involved in an effective spiritual outreach at your place of work – get started! While it’s easy, doesn’t take a lot of time, and doesn’t require anyone’s permission, it does take a commitment. It’s often referred to as Prayer Triplets. Here’s how it works:

Find a Prayer Team
Find one or two people at your workplace who are willing to pray with you for a few minutes a week for 6 weeks. 

This can be done at a convenient time: before or after work or during a break. Find a quiet place – a chapel, classroom or office. If none is available, you could meet in your car.

Pray Continuously
Pray specifically for your workplace, the staff, patients and others who pass through there. Ask the Lord to touch their lives. 

Make yourself available to God to use you in any way He leads.

Meet Together
After six weeks, evaluate what has happened: answered prayer, specific changes, etc. 

Then determine what to do next. Are there others who may want to join? Are there opportunities for outreaches?

Follow God’s Lead
Continue to pray as the Lord leads. We have found that no two prayer groups move in the same direction. Opportunities vary in each care facility. One thing has been proven over and over: you will be led what to do next if you start to pray.
